I'm Mark Vainauskas
In my earliest memories, I'm always the kid with a screwdriver in hand, dismantling old radio recorders—not because I knew how to fix them, but because I couldn't resist knowing what was inside. My curiosity didn't come from any external guidance; it was innate, as if I was programmed to explore and understand the world around me.
As I grew older, this itch to solve problems didn't wane. In fact, it snowballed. I remember watching movies where the tech nerd was always the hero in disguise. Riley, from "National Treasure," was my idol. He wasn't just the sidekick; he was the guy with the answers, and I wanted to be that guy.
When it came time for college, I aimed for Systems Engineering at ASU. But life had other plans, and I was advised to switch to Computer Science. It wasn't my first choice, but it turned out to be the right one. It gave me a strong foundation and led me to SoTellUs, a Software Marketing Company that became my professional launchpad.
Every day, I strive to stay ahead of the curve, mastering the latest technologies. I'm still that kid inside, driven by the thrill of solving problems and bringing those solutions to life through software. But now, it's not just about understanding how things work; it's about making them work better for everyone else.
I often think about how I used to follow advice blindly, and wish I had the discernment back then that I have now. But it's never too late to learn, to improve, to be better. I'm still on this journey, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I've learned to trust my instincts and embrace my perpetual quest for knowledge, because that's who I am—a problem solver, a lifelong learner, and someone who's always aiming to be a better version of himself.
